Jefferson School is located in the city of Reedley, California, and is one of seven K-5 schools in the Kings Canyon Unified School District. Jefferson serves approximately 396 students from transitional kindergarten through grade five. A total of 37 employees (22 certificated staff and 16 classified staff) serve the needs of students at Jefferson School.

The school provides a safe and nurturing environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of every child.
Expectations for students’ behavior and academic achievement are high. School personnel and students’ families work together to help students achieve these high standards. All expectations are clearly defined and consistently reinforced. All staff members believe that positive reinforcement promotes learning. The school provides an after school program for its students daily. An adult education program provides several classes for the parent community as well. Jefferson School has also been closely involved with the community through the YMAP program.
